Retail Shopping Center Drives Over 4,000 Incremental Visitors in One Month

Multiple targeting tactics and creative assets powered campaign success.

Goal

Create awareness and drive foot traffic to the shopping center's home decor and beauty focused retailers during a month in the spring season.

Targeting

Three main targeting tactics were used:

  • Loyal visitors to the retail center in the past 12 months + Household, Lookalike, and Social Extensions.
  • Competitor shopping centers in the local area.
  • Trade Area households and workplaces within 5 miles of the destination center.

Execution

The 5-week campaign was deployed via the OnSpot Integrated DSP targeting mobile display traffic. Two sets of creative assets were used - one focused on Home Decor retailers and the other on Beauty retailers within the center.

Results

  • 158,675 Impressions

  • 0.28% Campaign CTR

  • 4,102 unique visitors to the destination shopping center for a total of 6,518 visits.

Conclusion

Multiple targeting tactics combined with two sets of creative assets focused on consumer trends in the spring (Home Decor and Beauty) drove clicks and visits to the retail shopping center website, but more importantly, real foot traffic and revenue for the retailers featured in the campaign.
